Driven by <strong>BAFTA<\/strong>-winning studio <strong>State of Play<\/strong>, and distributed by <strong>11 Bit Studio<\/strong>, the plot pushes the player to reflect deeply on past choices and their consequences on present and future life. Several themes are addressed, including love, which remains a key element.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:18px; line-height:29px;\">The project boasts a high quality artistic cast. We feel the sensitivity of the artist and the desire to remain in this contemplative state that we can be in while watching a film.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:18px; line-height:29px;\">The piano plays a considerable role throughout the whole album. Ed Critchley shows us the extent of his talent with a quality mix. We particularly appreciated the track &#8220;Russian Base&#8221;, which is also one of the longest tracks on the album.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:40px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"video-responsive\"><iframe src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/DQ6JJojSbf0\" title=\"YouTube video player\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen=\"\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:40px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:18px; line-height:29px;\">We can also find the composition work of this British artist on the EP, <strong>Circles<\/strong>, published by <strong>11 Bit Studio<\/strong>. Inside are two tracks by <strong>Frostpunk<\/strong> composer, <strong>Piotr Musia\u0142<\/strong>, covered by <strong>Ed Critchley<\/strong>, as well as two tracks by Ed Critchley from <strong>South of the Circle<\/strong> covered by <strong>Piotr Musia\u0142<\/strong>. Great initiative from <strong>11 Bit Studio<\/strong> to offer this kind of content. Developed by <strong>Massive Monster<\/strong> and published by <strong>Devolver Digital<\/strong>, <strong>Cult of the Lamb<\/strong> is a sort of rogue-like action-adventure game that would have a place in the <strong>Happy Tree Friends universe<\/strong>!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:40px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.gameshub.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2021\/08\/lamb.jpg\" alt=\"Cult of the Lamb, Tremble before the Woolly Prophet - Original Soundtrack - video game music released August 2022 - G4F Records\" width=\"845\"\/><figcaption>Tremble Before the Woolly Prophet<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:40px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Satanic Trap<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:40px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:18px; line-height:29px;\"><strong>Cult of the Lamb<\/strong>&#8216;s soundtrack is just as atypical as its universe. The artist behind this composition is <strong>River Boy<\/strong>. This alias is the solo project of Australian, <strong>Narayana Johnson<\/strong>, who is also half of the duo, <strong>Willow Beat<\/strong>. This artist-composer has several strings to his bow, bouncing between the stage, composing music for video games, and being the audio director at <strong>Massive Audio<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:18px; line-height:29px;\">We can spot some typical Trap elements on the <strong>Cult of the Lamb<\/strong> album. In particular, the constant use of bass 808 and the particular rhythm of the hi-hats which echo the genre. <strong>River Boy<\/strong> also highlighted the use of sidechain and gate on the vocal samples, which created a unique identity to the soundtrack. Everything is perfectly arranged and mixed for the pleasure of our ears. The use of certain percussions, FX and other ear candies make the excellent quality of this soundtrack.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:18px; line-height:29px;\">It&#8217;s complicated to choose a favorite track among this catalog. Here, we forget the peaceful, relaxing and good vibes side of <strong>OlliOlli World<\/strong>. The plot of <strong>Rollerdrome <\/strong>forces us to interact in 2030 in a cyberfuturistic world where megacorporations have taken power. A new ultra-violent sport which views itself as a new form of entertainment is in vogue: the Rollerdrome.\n\nUn nouveau sport ultra-violent qui se veut comme un nouveau spectacle est en vogue&nbsp;: le <strong>Rollerdrome<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:18px; line-height:29px;\">Simply put, you&#8217;ll have to ride and fight with all kinds of guns in frenetic and fierce combat. The game has already been very well received by critics, and deservedly so. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:40px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/forbses.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/2414-rollerdromes-smooth-bullet-time-bloodsport-is-locked-and-loaded.jpg\" alt=\"Rollerdrome Gameplay, Rolling Bass, Resonating Snare and Synth Pad - video game music released August 2022 - G4F Records\" width=\"845\"\/><figcaption>You can&#8217;t have vertigo!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:40px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Rolling Bass, Resonating Snare and Synth Pad<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:40px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:18px; line-height:29px;\">To match <strong>Rollerdrome<\/strong>&#8216;s rather nervous aesthetic and gameplay, <strong>Roll7<\/strong> called on <strong>Electric Dragon<\/strong>! This artist is known in the world of <strong>synthwave <\/strong>and <strong>darksynth<\/strong>, so we can expect something edgy, and it delivers. <strong>Electric Dragon<\/strong>&#8216;s universe and its musical style fit perfectly with <strong>Rollerdrome<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:18px; line-height:29px;\">True to the genre, rolling bass, resonating snare and synth pad are in order. <strong>Electric Dragon<\/strong> provides a fairly sustained rhythm throughout the entire album. Lovers of this genre will be pleased, because all the ingredients that they love are brought together here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:18px; line-height:29px;\">Like the previous soundtrack, many tracks caught our attention, but <strong>Kara&#8217;s Theme<\/strong> is the one we&#8217;ll remember. More specifically, the player will have to lead their life in an extrasolar space colony. Each choice made will have consequences on the sequence of events in the game. The development team behind this project is <strong>Northway Games<\/strong> and the game is published by <strong>Finji<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:18px; line-height:29px;\">The game&#8217;s particular aesthetics offers an original visual experience. The player will be able to evolve on <strong>Vertuma <\/strong>through colorful watercolor decorations. Starting as an innocent 10-year-old pre-teen, we&#8217;ll have to survive until we begin to live through trials that will shape our nature and our vision of the world. By following the posts shared on the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/northwaygames.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Northway Games<\/a><\/strong> website, we can learn more about the inspirations and how the soundtrack of <strong>I was a Teenage Excolonist<\/strong> was built<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:40px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed-spotify wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-spotify wp-embed-aspect-21-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe title=\"Spotify Embed: Exocolonist Inspiration\" style=\"border-radius: 12px\" width=\"100%\" height=\"352\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen allow=\"autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; fullscreen; picture-in-picture\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/open.spotify.com\/embed\/playlist\/5VOCZyRDSa4dExG9AMVFl3?utm_source=oembed\"><\/iframe>\n<\/div><figcaption>Examples of Musical Inspirations for I was a Teenage Excolonist&#8217;s Soundtrack<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:40px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:18px; line-height:29px;\">What emerges is an anthology of composers on the album! What&#8217;s obvious is the presence of <strong>Daniel Rosenfeld<\/strong> (aka <strong>C418<\/strong>, or even \u201cthat Minecraft guy\u201d) but also of <strong>A Shell in the Pit<\/strong> (which we already talked about for the soundtrack of <strong>Rogue Legacy 2<\/strong> in our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.g4f-records.com\/en\/video-game-music-releases-april-2022-20044\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>April edition<\/strong><\/a>) who is also the audio director on <strong>I Was a Teenage Exocolonist<\/strong>. \nBut that&#8217;s not all, because the album has a total of 14 artists for a total of 27 tracks!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:18px; line-height:29px;\">As explained on the studio&#8217;s website, <strong>C418<\/strong> suggested building a soundtrack involving several artists in order to perfectly fit with the changing visions of life. With the help of <strong>A Shell in the Pit, Sarah Northway<\/strong> asked several friends and new artists to complete this soundtrack.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:18px; line-height:29px;\">Listening to the soundtrack of <strong>Excolonist<\/strong>, we immediately feel this desire to travel, to escape and to discover new horizons. We also notice that the animation used for this album&#8217;s video on YouTube is a nod to the famous 24\/24 radio of the <strong>Lofi Girl<\/strong> channel: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=jfKfPfyJRdk\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>lofi hip hop radio &#8211; beats to relax\/study to<\/strong><\/a>. Indeed, the developer of <strong>Islets <\/strong>is <strong>Kyle Thompson<\/strong>, an American living in Oregon and the composer of the game&#8217;s soundtrack is <strong>Eric Thompso<\/strong>n, his brother.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:18px; line-height:29px;\">In <strong>Islets<\/strong>, players take on the role of <strong>Iko<\/strong>, a mouse warrior who sets out to explore the world in order to connect various islands together.
