Since its Early Access release on November 18, 2024, players of Skygard Arena have had the pleasure of immersing themselves in the game’s soundscape through its captivating soundtrack. Two orchestral albums accompany this adventure: Themes from the Arena, which brings together all the epic themes from the arenas and battles, and Tales of Skygard, dedicated to the more serene and atmospheric music from the game’s camps.

Raphaël Joffres, a well-supported composer

At the helm of this musical journey is Raphaël Joffres, a renowned composer and sound designer. He previously worked at Ubisoft Montpellier before becoming music designer and audio lead on Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, a recently released French game that has already earned critical acclaim and is gaining momentum on the international gaming scene.

For Skygard Arena, Raphaël surrounded himself with talented collaborators. Among them is Timothé Bougon, a versatile musician whose performances include guitar, vocals, violin, and Irish flute. Tim Stoney also played a key role as a music copyist, ensuring the technical quality of the scores.

Together, the two albums feature a total of 39 tracks: 16 for Tales of Skygard and 23 for Themes from the Arena, totaling over 90 minutes of original orchestral music.
