Endless Legend 2: 1.0 takes over

September 17, 2026 Back to Blog

After a year spent in Early Access, Endless Legend 2 is about to leave that status behind and deliver its 1.0 version on September 17, on PC, Xbox Series, and PlayStation. Developed by Amplitude Studios and published by Hooded Horse, this turn-based 4X strategy game is getting a new playable faction for the occasion. A key milestone for a project G4F Records is proud to keep contributing to, handling the distribution of the game’s soundtrack, composed by Arnaud Roy.

SAIADHA, A PLANET REINVENTING ITSELF

In Endless Legend 2, players explore Saiadha, a planet shaped by the Tidefalls, cyclical phenomena that gradually submerge the world beneath the waves. Leading a civilization here means dealing with this constant upheaval: building, negotiating, and waging war, all while adapting to an environment that never stops changing around players.

The 1.0 version introduces the Sandshapers, a civilization that knew Saiadha before it was covered by water, and who have made it their sacred mission to bring it back to its original desert state. Yet another layer of tension between the various factions fighting for the planet’s future.

ARNAUD ROY, STILL PART OF THE SCORE

For this highly anticipated sequel, Amplitude Studios brought back Arnaud Roy, already responsible for the soundtracks of Endless Legend, Endless Space 2, and Endless Dungeon. A natural choice, given how closely his music has been tied to the sonic identity of the Endless universe for over a decade.

Released back in Early Access with around twenty tracks, the soundtrack is set to nearly double in size for this 1.0 version, with 18 brand-new tracks rounding out the score. A fitting way to mark the arrival of the Sandshapers and the scale the game reaches in its final version.

BETWEEN RECORDINGS AND ANALOG SYNTHS

What sets Arnaud Roy’s work on this project apart is his drive to seek out unusual textures. Sampled shamanic percussion, field recordings reworked through a granular synthesizer, and vintage analog synths: every sound is treated as a bespoke piece, built to serve the identity of each faction and each phase of play. Following in the footsteps of its predecessors, Endless Legend 2 is getting its own vinyl edition too: a gorgeous marbled double LP of the soundtrack, available for preorder starting today.

A WORD FROM OUR FACTION

Arnaud is one of those artists who never repeats himself, even when returning to a universe he knows by heart. Hearing his music again in Endless Legend 2 always promises new textures and new emotions. We can’t wait to see how players respond to this 1.0 version, and the new wave of tracks that comes with it.”
