Released on August 6th on PC (Steam), Sovereign Tower is the new narrative management RPG developed by the studio Wild Wits Games and published by Curve Games. A highly anticipated project, supported by a demo that had already won players over. A wonderful adventure that G4F Prod is proud to have been part of, handling music supervision and distribution of the game’s soundtrack.
WELCOME TO THE COURT OF BRIZH

In Sovereign Tower, players take on the role of the new Sovereign of a medieval fantasy kingdom, thrust into command of a magical tower and, more importantly, a Round Table determined not to make things easy. Recruiting colorful knights, arbitrating the court’s requests, managing the kingdom’s coffers: every choice shapes the future of the realm. And if things go wrong, there’s always the option to negotiate to turn back time and replay your run… at your own risk.
HILDEGARD VON BLINGIN’: THE VOICE BEHIND THE BARD

To accompany this adventure, Wild Wits Games and Curve Games treated themselves to a top-tier collaboration: that of Hildegard von Blingin’, a leading figure in Bardcore, the musical genre that reinterprets songs in a distinctly medieval style.
The first ballad, « There Stands the Tower », had already laid the groundwork for the game’s world back in spring.
Then, as launch approached, the game’s main theme, « Heather and Vine », brought this collaboration to a beautiful close.
Both tracks are written and performed by composer Nicolas Gaborel and Hildegard von Blingin’, who also lends her voice to the Bard, a playable character in the game.
STRAIGHT BACK TO THE MIDDLE AGES
Beyond these two singles, it’s the entire soundtrack composed by Nicolas Gaborel that sets the mood for Sovereign Tower. Between period instruments, warm melodies, and well-placed touches of humor, the music perfectly captures the tone of the kingdom of Brizh: both epic and deeply endearing, much like the rest of the game’s writing. The result gives every moment spent on the throne a genuine taste of medieval adventure, without ever straying from the lightheartedness that makes Sovereign Tower so charming.
A WORD FROM OUR ROYAL GUARD
On this project, the team mostly remembers that feeling of being completely transported when listening to the soundtrack.
“What we particularly love about Nicolas’s work is his ability to transport us elsewhere from the very first notes. You really feel like you’re there, at the heart of Brizh, settling the Round Table’s disputes. It’s the kind of soundtrack that makes you want to play just as much as it makes you want to hit pause, just to listen.”
